Per the WPRHA Bylaws, Section 3.A., Adult Members in good standing with the WPRHA for both the previous and current year are eligible for election to office. Upon election, the Officer or Board Member must maintain an active, full Membership at all times of service and not have any outstanding debt due to the Association. Per section 3.A.1., to be eligible for nomination to the president position, the individual must meet all the requirements listed above and serve as an officer or board member for the year preceding the elections.
All nominees will be contacted to determine their eligibility and willingness to accept the position to which they were nominated. Officers and Board Members are volunteers who are expected to perform the duties outlined in the Bylaws and attend all meetings/ events. If a person is not able to attend all meetings and events, it is advised that he/she does not accept the nomination.
